1:1 ABA Training
What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based scientific discipline concerned with the analysis, understanding, and modification of behavior. It applies principles of learning theory to develop, implement, and evaluate interventions that aim to increase beneficial behaviors and reduce those that may interfere with learning or daily functioning.
ABA methodologies are used to teach a wide range of skills, including communication, social interaction, self-care, and academic competencies, across various ages and developmental stages.

The Scientific Basis for Early Intervention
Early childhood is characterized by a period of accelerated neurological development. During these years, the brain exhibits a high degree of neuroplasticity—the ability to form and reorganize synaptic connections in response to experience and learning.
This developmental stage represents a period of heightened neurological adaptability. Initiating structured, evidence-based interventions during this time can be particularly impactful, as it allows for the systematic shaping of learning patterns and skill acquisition during a phase of optimal brain growth. The goal of early intervention is to establish a robust foundation for ongoing development.

Why this program?
Our Program: An Integrated Framework for Development
Our program is designed to translate therapeutic principles into practical, everyday learning. We prepare children to apply skills across multiple environments through a structured yet flexible framework.
Program Structure:
-
Session Format: A combination of individual instruction and group activities.
-
Thematic Units: Monthly themes provide a consistent and engaging learning context.
-
Community Learning: Regularly scheduled field trips to local settings support skill generalization.
Instructional Methodology:
-
Play-Integrated Learning: Teaching moments are embedded within child-preferred activities and natural routines, such as shared play, meals, and story time. This method is used to develop communication, social interaction, problem-solving, and emotional awareness.
-
Functional Skill Building: The program prioritizes skills that increase autonomy. For example, we teach functional communication to enable a child to independently request a break or access needed sensory tools.
